BIG SHOW AFOOT!

hello my babies

so! we have a lot of show news to catch you up on.

DC: VINI VIDI FUCK YOU
first of all we would like to thank all of our DC area friends for coming out to our show at solly's last thursday. the show was a lot of fun and kind of hilarious. after playing a really fun set for an amazingly supportive crowd, we all went our own ways and ran around dc getting ourselves into a myriad of nonsense. for starters, we met some wild ol' cougar named candace who told us dirty joke after dirty joke in between anecdotes about her days hanging out with the rolling stones (she unsympathetically referred to keith richards as an ugly old lizard), we had eric's grandma literally dance to our songs, ran over to (dave grohl's) black cat venue/lounge to get drinks with some weird older girl who hit on us incessantly and then cruised over to JONCON's spot to lose our minds and call it a night on a loveseat divided three ways. photo finish? YUP

EMERGENZA: GRUDGE-MATCH/SEQUEL/THUNDERDOME
THIS IS THE BIG ONE.
alright kids, i know hello midnight has been barking up the recently graduated, overqualified-underemployed, semi-impoverished tree for a while, BUT IF YOU COME TO ANY HELLO MIDNIGHT SHOW AT ALL, sugar, this is it.
for you un-hip few not in the know, we have entered a bracket style battle of the bands and have essentially made it to the elite 8; i.e. we are within striking distance of a booze-sponsored trip to germany for a killer tour, or some nonsense.
long story short: COME TO OUR SHOW ON SATURDAY, APRIL 18TH, 10PM. the more heads we pull, the better we do, the better our odds, the further we go, the more money we make, the more hysterical tweens, the more sold out stadiums, the more grammys we win, the more plaques on hollywood walks of fame, the more statues erected in our honor, etc. etc.

SO!
we would just like to make sure we thank everyone who came out for the DC show (or any other show for that matter) because we really appreciate all the support you guys have shown us. we have a lot of fun performing for you guys and hope you have as much fun as we do at our shows.
on that note, one more time we would like to plug the APRIL 18th SHOW so we can keep kicking ass in this tournament we have been dominating.

thats all for now my babies, keep listening and keep in touch,
love,

TIME WON'T WAIT lyrics

The weight of the world sits on my shoulders
I know I am getting older
I don't believe in my creator

Its 6:40 in the morning
life is so boring
the sun is roaring
get on my knees and pray

Time won't wait
Motivate me
Wake me up and move me along

I'm an unhealthy addiction
A bottled up sensation
So throw me in to rotation.

Life used to be easy
All I did was to please me
Now there are things to do
All I need to do is move

Time won't wait
Motivate me
Wake me up and move me along

***SOLO***

Time won't wait
Motivate me
Wake me up and move me along

JURY DUTY

That is right. Even transcendent (ha always wanted to say that) people like myself have to serve jury duty.

Complaint:

And really i see why everyone knocks it. There are about 300 something people quarantined in the court building hoping or dreading their number being called. And all you can do is wait, awkward conversations, and people watch. The characters that are here are amazing though. I had a guy heckle everyone who walked in the room. Even the officer who gave the orientation, he was sitting right behind me. The people here are defined as a cross section of Essex County (What What) and it does not look that good. Especially in this economic fist fuck that we are in people are extremely displeased by having to sit, staring at each other for about 8 hours? I got here around 8 all dressed (the dress code said "must wear shirt" or "your pants cannot be THAT tight" i think i defied the latter?) and they still have yet to pick anyone. It is going to be long day. But i hope to make friends with some interesting people.

Information:

I would like to thank everyone who voted for us for the WIM SHOWCASE. It was great. We came in FIRST… SO…. We are going to be headlining this showcase. That is right. So we are all siked about it. It is on April 13th (Monday) at The Delancey and IT IS FREEEEEEEEEEEE. What a great word to hear. So please come out and drink, see us rip it up.

Remember that we are coming down to D.C on March 26th. I am excited to spread the word down in the capitol. Solly's Tavern at 8pm only 5 bucks.

I must run and make friends. More to come on some really cool things that me and the band are working on.

Safe

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WATCH OUT

Hey Hey

A few things i must share with you.

First. We played last night. We conquered. We are moving on to the next round of Emergenza. Very pumped about it. If we lost I would have been so mad. And embarrassed. Not saying that there was not talent there. They were all good. But it gave me too much of a picture into my future if I do not get my shit together (overweight, shaved head, soul-patch, wearing a cut off sleeve neon blue t- shirt). That's all i can say. But I need you to come out to the next one at The Bitter End. Date TBA in April.

Second. I am making D.C my bitch. We are playing on March 26th at Solly's Tavern. Only 5 dollars. A Lincoln if you will. At 8pm. For all you working folk. And cheap enough for us poor people.

It is going to be the first time i have been able to run around D.C. and not check out monuments (shout out to the 8th grade D.C. trip). I think i will swing by the white house and say whats up to my boy obamarama. Who knows. I digress. Listen COME to the show at Solly's if you are in the area. I dont think Baltimore and like virgina is THAT far. And we got places to crash so the more the merrier.

On the way back we are planning to hit up a bar in Philly (with buttercup and tori). So let me know if we can come and mess up that town as well.

If anyone has suggestions on places to check out. let me know.

Come

IMPORTANT. WE Need everyone to VOTE so we can play a SHOWCASE. Here is the Link. You can Also find it on our Facebook.

Well i must be going... making some lunch. More to come. Vote!
